In any kind of service industry you will always be sifting through less-than great leads, it’s inevitable. Whether it’s people wanting something for nothing, unreasonable prospects, or just plain ol’ time wasters, we’ve all had these experiences.
One of the things that can make all the difference in the world is a great form. It’s by far the easiest way to size a visitor up before ever speaking to them. For us and our clients, may of our leads come in via online forms, so we have versions of forms to make sure we have good information to help determine exactly what a prospect wants.
To help give you an example of a good form, I’ve created a form that might be used to capture information about a prospective Advice client.
This form was put together in Google Docs in a matter of minutes. It’s super easy to customize one yourself, but if you want to use a pre-made one, they have plenty of form templates that you can browse.
